Effect of Pressure in shift reactions

From an equilibrium point of view since water-gas shift reaction is an equi-molar reaction there should not be any effect of pressure on CO conversion , but also higher pressure means lesser volume and increased residence time and consequently better catalyst activity.

Which is the dominant effect? Can someone shed a better light and contribute to the above topic with any new theories?
